Demand Justice for Dogs Found Starving in Filth

Authorities reportedly discovered appalling conditions at a property in Davenport, Florida. One dog was allegedly found dead and decomposing inside a kennel, while four underweight puppies were reportedly living in filth, covered in feces and suffering from parasite infestations. Another dog was said to be so severely emaciated that little more than skin and bone remained, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Every one of these animals relied completely on the people responsible for their care. They should have been provided with adequate food, clean water, safe shelter, veterinary treatment, and a sanitary environment. Instead, they were allegedly allowed to suffer through prolonged neglect.

A suspect has reportedly been arrested and faces 10 counts relating to animal cruelty and neglect. These allegations must be pursued with the seriousness they warrant, both to secure accountability and to protect other animals from being placed at risk.
