Demand Public Release of Trump’s Cognitive Test Results

House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin just formally demanded that the White House physician conduct and release a full cognitive evaluation of Trump, citing alarming behavior and growing bipartisan concern.

The American people have a right to know whether the person making life-and-death decisions on war, the economy, and public safety is mentally fit to serve. When members of Congress begin openly discussing the 25th Amendment, we are already in dangerous territory. Silence and secrecy from the White House only deepen the crisis.

The White House physician has a duty to the public—not just to the president. Releasing clear, objective medical information is essential to maintaining trust in our democracy. Without transparency, Americans are left to wonder whether critical decisions are being made with sound judgment—or something far more troubling.

As Raskin wrote, "At a time when our country is at war—especially when the war was initiated by the President without Congressional declaration or consent—the American people must be able to trust that the Commander-in-Chief has the mental capacity to discharge the essential duties of his office."

He asked the White House physician to conduct "a comprehensive cognitive assessment of President Donald Trump" and provide the results to Congress.

We cannot afford to wait. Every day without clarity is another day the country is left in the dark while the stakes grow higher.

Tell White House Physician Dr. Sean Barbabella: Conduct a full cognitive evaluation of Donald Trump and release the results to the public immediately. The American people deserve transparency, accountability, and the truth.
