Tell Congress: Abolish Super PACs

For over a decade, billionaires have pumped unlimited amounts of money into our elections through super PACs to buy the candidates of their choosing. 

In the 2024 midterm election alone, the 100 richest billionaire families in the United States spent $2.6 billion dollars to elect their chosen candidates. Meanwhile, regular citizens got just one vote. 

That’s not democracy. 

The good news is Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Summer Lee are fighting back. They just introduced legislation to put democracy back into the hands of the people and get super PACs out of elections. 

Tell Congress to support the Abolish Super PACs Act and stop billionaires from buying candidates. 

Sen. Sanders and Rep. Lee’s bill is the strongest bill in Congress to prevent oligarchs from abusing our democratic system. 

It will cap Super PAC donations to $5,000 per person per year, close the loophole that lets candidates and Super PACs coordinate like one team, and shift power from billionaires back to the people.
